HAPPY HOLIDAYS
&
HAVE A
HAPPY NEW YEAR
| | |
| My thanksgiving weekend is coming to an end. Which means one thing: I must finish homework, so I'll try to update quick...
Thanksgiving this year kinda felt more towards friends than family. It
was nice at the dinner table at our house on Thursday, and this year,
my brother invited his friend over for it. It was all good to say at
least, I didn't really do anything productive except eat and make 2
pies and sit by the fireplace. I miss the family life when everyone got
along, or fought amongst small things... I just miss the
"together-ness". Nowadays, I eat dinner by myself or with my little
brother sometimes because the 'rents are always out and my older
brother returned to college. I'm thankful for all the times with my
family together, because I'm not sure how long that will last now that
we're all growing up into different directions, and I'll be going to
college myself soon too... blah.
Friday... not much happened either, I don't remember much. It was a day well wasted. I don't think I did anything really... sad.
Saturday, I had this going-away party for one of my friends who is
moving next week. It went great... I realized I should have more
parties at my house, and I need to cook more often haha. My friend and
I made pancakes and hot syrup and eggs and bacon and the like yesterday
night -- all of this "breakfast" theme is a joke, so you wouldn't get
it. It was really fun nevertheless. The friend who's moving, she's
going to be missed so much. Hopefully that scrapbook helped to convince
her... eh, maybe not, but it was worth it.
My brother left this morning for DC, so the house is empty now... more AP Bio work.
Take it easy, pray for XMas break to come by soon and last longer...

| Happy
Thanksgiving,
everyone.
Well, the brother came home yesterday night... he isn't much
different, but it's kind of weird to see him back home. Yet, it seems
like he has never left home. There's much to talk about at the dinner
table tomorrow about college (next year)...
Today was a half day at school. I saw a lot of last years' seniors back
as alumni, it was cool. Then HOMECOMING festivities began. I made a
6-on-6 volleyball team with my friends to play in a tournament... let's
just say, we could have done much better... I'm pissed because we never
actually practiced together. Next year. Next year, we are going to
dominate without failure or any loss. Over the summer, we will train
together and hire a coach to perfect our volleyball skills. Volleyball
is addicting too...
In terms of school work, I have a lot due. Shit.
Today... family's coming over, and the feast will begin late afternoon.
I haven't had a family dinner together with any family members (besides
my little brother, occasionally) at the same time since... wow, I don't
remember, sometime last summer I suppose. I CAN'T WAIT TO PIG OUT.
Then... indoor track starts on Monday...
There's a lot in my life that's burdening me and making it so
troublesome... I can't wait until this summer.
